We are currently accepting applications while we are rebuilding our site and forum. Almost all positions are needed at this time. Be aware that it may be a little while before we are ready to release chapters. Remember that scanlation is a “labor of love” by fans. We are not financially compensated for our work and often have to pay out-of-pocket for things like manga volumes, scanners, pen tablets, software, and server space and rent. With that said, YOU won’t be asked to pay anything to join us, but you won’t be offered any compensation other than a credit on the release page and the friendship of the other staff members. If you still think this is something you’d like to try, keep on reading to see what positions are open.

Raw Providers:
Requires the individual to debind and scan manga/manhua/manhwa volumes at a high quality and upload for translators. We also accept high quality raws that are acquired with the permission of the original scanner. Raw providers must have a reliable scanner and provide samples of scans before being considered.

Translators:
The translators that we currently need are for Korean, Chinese, and Japanese series. Translators must speak English well enough that they can communicate with the admins and can provide translations in a timely manner.

Proofreaders:
Must be English-proficient

Editors:
Must have access to Photoshop. Previous experience preferred, but we will train you on the job. If you have previous experience with another group, make sure to provide us with links to samples of your editing.  Editors will be expected to clean out original text and replace with English translation, make minor script changes (with translator and proofreader approval), clean out SFX and replace with English translations, and choose the most suitable fonts for the series. Editors are expected to be able to edit an entire chapter within a 1-2 week time frame unless arrangements are made in advance.

QC-ers:
Must be able to edit and have access to Photoshop.  Previous QC experience preferred, but previous editing experience is required. QC-ers must have access to Photoshop and are expected to make minor typesetting corrections, grammatical errors that proofreaders may have missed, fix redrawn areas of the image that need a little more work, and save the final images for releases. (Major changes will be referred back to the editor for correction).
